Last month, I visited Adam Broderick Salon in Ridgefield to dye and cut my hair. As soon as I came in, I was greeted warmly and asked if I needed any help. The girl from customer service offered me drink and guided me to waiting area, where they also served breakfast. The customer service was great, they smile, take good care of customers, they created very a relaxing atmosphere, and I felt like I was pampered. The workers were very nice, they introduced themselves by name, and also the owner came to welcome me. The stylists have very professional advices for me, but also they listened what my needs were. My appointment was and 9 am and did not have to wait even one minute for my haircut. At the end, the stylist gave me her card with 25% off for my 3 visits; she also helped me to find in their “beauty spot” the right types of beauty products for me. She walked me to reception place where my two hours at this salon ended. You can feel very special at this place thanks to customer service and their professional skills. I highly recommend this salon; I feel beautiful and special every time I walk out

The best birthday present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My birthday coming soon VERY SOON. I am very excited because my mom is coming for my birthday. This is the first time when she is coming to visit me. I have been in the United States for almost three years but she never been here before. She is very nervous because she can not speak any English but I am sure everything is gonna be OK. She is coming for 2 weeks and I already plan what we can do in my free time. First of all I would like to show her New York City and Boston. Also I want to take her on vacation ( I need too). I was thinking about weekend in Miami but we will see. I hope she will like New York. I wonder because I was very disappointed. In my opinion is too many people, too laud and too dirty but everyone likes something else so who knows.

Needs/wants
We can say that in life word ''want'' is actually replaced with ''need''. It's much more often used around and let's be obvious, it sounds much better, not for others, but for ourself!!! Of course we won't say ''I want this, I want that'', because you can want anything, it doesn't really matter. However, if you will say ''I really need that.'' -you need it and that's it! Those ''needs'' come from us, we are the authors of them, and we are the only ones that can manage them. It's obvious that it's manufactured by marketers, but all their work is to make ourselves say ''I need it!!!'' Marketers are using that to make a business on us. And let's be honest, we all are easy to fool with those ''needs''. Well, we have to shop with head and be very carefful for advertisments or workers who are trying to sell you their products, ''their product is the best of all!'' so you need it. Sellers are always fast, they cannot let you think, so you won't have any doubts and you will easly buy their product. But let's always ask ourselves a question: ''Do I really need that?'' And possibly the answer would be ''No, I want it!''

My favourite book
Once I have read a book called "My dzieci z dworca Zoo" written by Christiane F. I was impressed by it. The book describes lives of children who are addicted to drugs. The material for this book was gathered by Hermann and Horst Rieck. The action took place in the western Berlin. The main character is a young girl who came from a good, loving family and was a good schoolgirl. Then, when she was 12 years old, she entered a bad companion and started smoking hashish and later she turned to harder drugs. She was taking heroine at the age of 13. She began getting bad marks but her parents did not understand what was happening - they thought that it was because of the new surrounding (they had moved to western Berlin only recently). They did not think that it was something more dangerous. In order to get money for the drugs she was working as a prostitute on the station Zoo. She also did not understand what was happening with her, that drugs were destroying her life. She believed that she was not addicted and could give up whenever she wanted to. Her friends were dying but she survived thanks to her mother who tried to help as much as she could. The book shows the situation from two points of view: of the mother and the girl. It is appealing to both parents and younger readers. This book is a warning and should be read by everyone.
Changes at NCC
If I could pick one thing to change about the NCC I would change the parking situation. Everyday I have dificulties finding a parking space. This is an issue because many have to park illegaly or drive in circles until they find a spot, but that may cause students to be tardy to classes. Parking is an issue because NCC has more students(that can drive/have a car) than parking spaces. It wouldnt be an issue if classes were at different times or if we had more parking places/lots. I really think it is important to change this, it would benefit many!

Sunday
Today I feel really tired. I 've been drving almost all day. In the morning we went to the Polish Church in Stamford and after that we decided to go to the mall :) I LOVE SHOPPING. In the afternoon I spent 2 hours on the gym. Now I am home and I have to do my grammar assigments. Also tommorow I have my match test. I am a little bit nervous, but usually match is very easy for me. For my grammar assigments I have to write about nutrition. That can be intresting because unfortunately I love junk food. Besides that I have to write ten sentense about mysterious place. This semester I am taking three on-line classes and I can tell it is a lot of work. Every day I am doing something and it takes forever. Becouse of those classses I am addiction to computer use. I am spending most of my day sitting on the computer and doing my homework or assigment. Also I am checking if the teachers graded or sended me e-mail at least three times a day.
